Job Title: Grant Program Manager
Duration: 6-month contract (20 hours per week)

Pay Range: $90.00 $95.00 per hour
Our client is seeking a skilled Grant Program Manager to join their team, where you who will play a critical role in managing their grant programs. The focus will be on coordinating and fulfilling the Statement of Project Objectives (SOPO) for various grants, including high-profile projects. This position requires skillful negotiation of unique SOPOs with different governing agencies and partners.
In this role, the responsibilities will include overseeing the execution, scheduling, and reporting of multiple grants, requiring strong communication skills as one must liaise with government bodies and external partners. The individual will also work closely with the Senior Infrastructure Program Director in external reporting to stakeholders and the Public Utilities Commission. This position is ideal for someone with excellent project management and negotiation skills, and offers the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and make a significant impact in the client's grant management efforts.

- Four-year college degree
- 5 years of experience
- PM certification
- Be comfortable in managing ambiguity
- Must be highly organized
- Able to develop relationships quickly and be able to leverage those.

- PM certifications

A Day in the Life: As a Grant Program Manager (GPM), you will administer the operational and logistical aspects of individual grants. This includes:
- Working closely with the project team and others to comply with applicable requirements and regulations.
- Managing reporting, budget (awarded funds and committed cost sharing), adherence to terms and conditions, and coordination with the funding agency.
- Implementing administrative (often cross-functional) processes to support the effective and consistent management of all grants across the company's portfolio.
- Acting as the lead between the Grant Management Team (GMT) and Principal Investigators/Project Managers (PIs), serving as the central administrative contact for the grant.
- Supporting the execution of grant-funded projects from negotiation through closeout, including contract negotiation, post-award setup, grant handbook development and maintenance, grant budget oversight, documentation of program management processes and decisions, and implementation of policies and processes to ensure adherence to sponsor requirements.
Top Priority in the First Few Weeks/Months:
- Initiating negotiations with grant funders on hydroelectric grants.
- Ensuring processes are set up to meet grant requirements.
- Establishing processes for the execution of the Hydrogen Hub grant.
