Job Title: Grant Writer (NSF Experience Required) - Cybersecurity - Consultant

IBSS Corp. is dedicated to advancing cybersecurity research and solutions. We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Grant Writer with specific experience in National Science Foundation (NSF) proposals to join our team.

Overview:

The Cybersecurity Grant Writer will be responsible for developing compelling grant proposals to secure funding for our cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in cybersecurity, a deep understanding of NSF funding mechanisms, and a proven track record of successful grant writing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify funding opportunities relevant to cybersecurity projects, with a focus on NSF programs.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, researchers, and project managers to gather information and data for proposals.

• Develop, write, and edit high-quality grant proposals that clearly articulate project goals, methodologies, and expected outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with NSF guidelines and requirements throughout the proposal development process.

• Create and maintain a grant writing calendar to track submission deadlines and reporting requirements.

• Provide guidance on budgeting and financial aspects of grant proposals.

• Review and revise proposals based on feedback from stakeholders and external reviewers.

• Stay current with trends in cybersecurity and funding landscapes to inform proposal strategies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Public Policy, or a related field (Master's preferred).

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, specifically with NSF proposals.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and research methodologies.

• Proven track record of successful grant applications, particularly with NSF.

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with other funding agencies and grant mechanisms.

• Experience in research project management or coordination.

• Understanding of federal grant regulations and compliance issues.
