Grants Administrator
Contract: 6+ months
Remote (local to Boston, MA)

Job Description: This position serves as comprehensive financial and administrative support to designated faculty members and their research teams
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Payroll Management: Handle payroll processes by submitting turnarounds, honorarium/stipend forms, compensation vouchers, temporary employment vouchers, and Student Employment authorizations to ensure timely and accurate salary payments for faculty and students.
Unrestricted/Gift Account Management: Oversee budget preparation, monitoring, and projections for unrestricted and gift accounts assigned to faculty and the department.
General Administration: Provide administrative support to assigned faculty and supervise the Senior Program Coordinator and Work Study Students.
Restricted Account Management: Manage pre-award proposal development, submission, and post-award activities for assigned faculty. This includes modifications, progress reports, no-cost extensions, and monitoring expenditures for effective budget planning.
Contract: 6+ months

Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years’ experience with grants
- Advanced writing skills
- Working knowledge of OMB Circulars and NSF funding guidelines (grants experience)
- Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database or other software on a computer.

- Higher education experience

- Manage all financial accounts related to assigned faculty.
- Provide administrative support, including correspondence, travel arrangements, and scheduling.
- Act as a liaison between faculty and university administrative offices, as well as federal and private funding agencies.
