This position is 100% remote.
As a Grants Management Specialist, I (GMS I), you will performgrant administration functions to assist the Government PCO/Grants Officer in grant closeouts and financial reporting.
These functions will include:
- Perform the administration or termination, and/or closeout of grants, and/or grants assistance and agreement awards.
- Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents and enter information into and manage the digital project databases.
- Coordinate and do various grants-related activities. Knowledge of the federal grants process is highly desired.
To qualify, you will have:
- 2 years of Federal grants experience
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field.
- Knowledge of federal grants laws, regulations, and policies and an understanding of business and industry grant practices.
- Experience in grant financial analysis and providing technical assistance and recommendations to meet the grant's intent.
- U.S. Citizenship or Foreign National with a work permit and residing in the U.S. for three (3) or more years.
- Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance, which must be adjudicated favorably for you to begin working. This requires fingerprinting and reporting on your previous employment, residence, education, and financial and legal background. Candidates may be disqualified for federal or state convictions of crimes, military court-martials, delinquent federal debt including taxes and student loans, current use of illegal drugs, or lying on their application.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Knowledge of eRA Commons.
- Certified Federal Grants Manager certification through NGMA.
Base compensation range and benefits:
- $45,000 to $55,000—Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.
