Responsibilities
The management, award, and/or obligation of funds for grants, cooperative agreements, and other related instruments and services using financial, administrative, business and negotiation procedures; the competitive or non-competitive evaluation of grants proposals; and/or the administration or termination, and/or closeout of grants.
Liaison with external customers, recipients, and awardee community to clarify, interpret, and resolve issues.
Monitor, assess, and ensure awardees comply with all terms and conditions of award.
Support in grants administration involving some portions of developing solicitation and selection orders, grant setup, payment processing, monitoring, and close out
These functions require a practical knowledge and application of 2 CFR 200
Continually monitor assigned grant allowances to track the pace of expenditures and prevent lapse of funds or over expenditures.
Monitor the implementation of projects involving infrastructure issues and produce reports that include the tracking of trends/patterns, data analysis, and/or grantees financial performance in support of Program activity to evaluate Program effectiveness and to produce briefing material.
Prepare required records, files, and reports for use in conference discussions
Prepare notices of schedules, agendas, and reports for office meetings
Coordinate with other organizations and/or agencies to obtain records and meeting materials.
Conduct research for preparation of reports and briefing books, and in basic research techniques sufficient to recognize essential data and provide concise, pertinent summaries of information.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree
Must be able to report onsite 2x/week
Three (3) years of experience
OR Associates Degree and five (5) years of experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required knowledge in preparing, processing, issuing, and tracking grants/assistance awards and compliance with reporting requirements
Skill in applying laws and policies to the oversight and administration of grants.
Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
