About the Role:
As a Grants Policy Consultant supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to provide grants management expertise and develop grants technical assistance (TA) resources for recipients across multiple nationwide grant programs. You will coordinate within a team to help train Federal grant program staff and recipients on grants management, 2 CFR 200, compliance, and monitoring processes by creating compelling and digestible presentations.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop TA materials for multiple audiences including technical writing support, quality assurance reviews, and presentation development
- Assist Federal clients with administering post-award activities for multiple nationwide grants programs, supporting program monitoring, and TA activities
- Create or update pre-award and post-award grant-related guidance and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the grant program with a focus on 2 CFR 200 and federal monitoring/oversight standards
- Coordinate with the larger Grants Administration Technical Assistance Team to help train both federal staff and grant program recipients on grants management, compliance, and oversight
- Engage directly with client project team

Location:
You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely. You will work at the client site dependent on contract requirements.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4 years of professional experience
- Strong resource development and consulting skills, with experience supporting a grants administration program
- Strong technical writing, presentation development, quality assurance of work products, and core consulting skills
- Grants Management
- Knowledge and experience with federal and/or state grants management; ideally has supported execution and operations of grant programs, including post-award processes (e.g., monitoring, risk assessment)
- Knowledge and experience with developing detailed SOPs for critical processes, including grants administration (post-award) and policy resources translated into easy to understand terms
- US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability
- Desire to acquire an understanding of pre-and post-award grants administration processes, 2 CFR 200, and federal monitoring/oversight, with the ability to understand implications of programmatic policy decisions on the developing grant programs
