Grants Specialist at Sparks Group

Sparks group has partnered with a nonprofit organization in the Charlotte Metropolitan area. This is a mission-driven organization with the goal of providing immediate relief to communities affected by natural disasters. • Deliver services in support of disaster relief, including providing immediate turnaround of applications, processing checks, facilitating grant distributions, and conducting additional due diligence

• Review grant requests, collect, organize, and analyze information from grant applications to verify requests

• Exercise independent and collective reasoning when evaluating grant requests and approve grant awards

• Escalate cases consistently with the fund policy grant review and approval guidelines

• Identify opportunities, issues, and trends within the program and notify team members

   

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Quality assurance experience

• Experience in case management, order entry, grants administration, or related work preferred

• Strong MS Outlook skills
