About the Job
This is a non-civil service announcement. The Grants Writer will focus primarily on crafting high-quality grant proposals to secure funding for various city initiatives. This role requires strong writing skills and the ability to convey the city’s vision and project goals effectively to funders.
The Grants Writer will report to the Director of Advancement and Strategic Partnerships and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including the Grants Advancement Manager, to write compelling grant proposals that clearly articulate the need, potential impact, and sustainability of the proposed projects and programs.

Mayoral staff (non-civil service) receive 15 days of Paid Time Off and 12 sick days annually.
