Salary: $65.00 USD Hourly - $70.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Graphic Designer

Location: Baton Rouge, LA - must be able to go onsite as needed.

5 year contract

Job Scope:

• Meet with State staff to determine project scope.
• Advise on strategies to reach target audiences.
• Determine the message the design should convey.
• Create images to identify products or convey messages.
• Develop graphics for logos and websites.
• Select colors, images, text styles, and layouts.
• Present designs to State.
• Incorporate State-recommended changes into final designs.
• Review designs for errors before printing or publishing.
• Ensure coding standards are met; optimize web architectures for navigability and accessibility.
• Utilize specialized graphic design software to prepare designs.

Mandatory Expertise and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with a range of computer software.
• Solid problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong Excel skills, including data modeling and ad hoc analysis.
• Availability to work regularly from Baton Rouge, LA.

Desirable Expertise and Experience:

• Ability to discern key themes within large, complex datasets.
• Experience applying specialized skills within a government agency environment.
• Skilled in project design and management.
• Proficiency with PowerBi and PowerAutomate.
• Experience in data visualization, especially for external audiences.
