Position Overview:
Cumulus Media Dallas is seeking a talented Graphic Designer with a passion for crafting visually stunning and engaging designs that resonate with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our radio stations to create on-brand visuals that drive audience engagement across platforms
- Develop compelling B2C and B2B campaign creatives that resonate with our advertisers' audience
- Design graphics for web, social media, print, and promotional materials used by our stations to promote events, contests, and programming
- Ensure brand consistency in every project, following design standards
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
Creative Strategy and Concept Development
- Brainstorming: Participate in creative brainstorms to develop new design concepts and strategies.
- Concept development: Create original design concepts that align with marketing objectives and target audiences.
- Storyboard creation: Develop storyboards for visual content, such as animated videos or social media campaigns.
- Creativity and innovation: Ability to generate original and innovative design concepts.
- Problem-solving: Capacity to solve design challenges effectively and efficiently.
- Attention to detail: Meticulousness in ensuring accuracy and consistency in designs.
- Time management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new software, techniques, and industry trends.
Digital Design and User Experience (UX)
- UX design: Collaborate with team to ensure that designs are intuitive and provide a positive user experience.
- Email design: Create visually appealing and engaging email templates for marketing campaigns.
Technical Skills
- Software proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or Sketch.
- File formats: Understanding of various file formats (e.g., JPEG, PNG, PDF, AI) and their appropriate uses.
- Color theory: Knowledge of color theory, including color palettes, harmonies, and psychology.
- Typography: Understanding of typography, including font selection, spacing, and hierarchy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work
- Ability to think creatively and adapt to changing design trends
- Experience in designing for digital, print, social media platforms, and B2C marketing campaigns
