About the Job
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory: (if applicable)
•Bachelor’s degree
•Experience in software development or 2+ years of experience in graphic design
•Experience effectively executing against brand guidelines and maintaining brand standards, including demonstrating considered layout, image composition, typography and color palette
•Experience designing externally facing information and graphics in a visually appealing way
•Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and animation)
•Available to work from Baton Rouge, LA on a regular basis
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
•Ability to effectively edit and augment written and visual elements of program content
•Experience translating technical concepts into straightforward visual designs
•Experience aligning web development applications with technical programming
•Familiarity with Craft CMS architecture
•Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
•UX/UI Design competencies
•Application of specialized skills within a government agency environment
