6pm to 6am some weekends and OT required in this role
Summary: Responsible for activities related to large format press/large format printing within the production facility seeking applicants with work experience in the field of large format printing, digital printing, or graphics printing.
Essential Functions:
Professionally print large format banners (mesh, vinyl, fabric, eco), rigid signage (styrene, foams, PVC, acrylic, metal, corrugated), floor & window graphics, indoor & outdoor signage, printed fabrics, posters and photos.
- Adhere to printing press scheduling, efficiency and quality requirements.
- Adhere to all press Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
- Perform emergency equipment maintenance as required.
- Complete departmental daily tasks including but not limited to housekeeping, communication and printing operations.
- Communications with other operators on current as well as other shifts.
- Assist in special duties and projects as required by Management.

- Work experience in the field of large format printing, digital printing, or graphics printing.
- Working knowledge of digital and large format printing processes.
- Experience in the field of large format printing, digital printing, or graphics printing.
- Effective process management skills. Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to document regular activities and e-mail correspondence. As well as add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to read standard measurements on tape measurer and willing to learn metric.
- Extensive knowledge of Large Format Printing Substrates and detailed Large Format Press Maintenance / operations knowledge and skills.
- Must be detail oriented and organized. Our scope of business is large and we work with a lot of stock.
- Work experience in the field of large format printing, digital printing, or graphics printing.
- High School Diploma or GED
Work Environment: Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.
Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, this position could require government security clearance for certain projects in the future. The Press Operator role does not require a security clearance at this time.
