The Grounds Maintenance Associate is responsible for reporting to the assigned EMR location to ensure the upkeep of all outside areas. Duties include removing litter and debris from the area, ridding of all graffiti or unwanted signs, and weed abatement. This career requires the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
I. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Removes all litter and other debris from sidewalks, street gutters, and alleyways.
- Responsible for removing of any graffiti or posters from light posts, trashcans, and fences from any EMR property.
- Responsible for weed abatement on all EMR property to ensure our locations are well kept.
- Provides written reports of broken infrastructures and graffiti on private property, as well as a daily report regarding accomplishments and tasks completed.
- Other job duties as assigned.
II. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
III. Physical Demands and Work Environment
Work is generally performed throughout our Camden, NJ locations. Working hours may vary and evening or weekend work may be required. You will be required to stand for long periods of time. You may be required to lift up to fifty pounds. You employee may be working near moving mechanical parts and will be in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions
