About the Job
Position: Group Experience and Sales Manager
Purpose: To ensure group and guided retreat goals are met. To create an exceptional guest experience for group retreat leaders and their participants.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Execution Group Sales Contracts
- Directly responsible for overseeing the full execution and detailing ofthe group sales contract, including preparing proposals, regularly scheduled client check-ins, BEO creation, communicating finalized function arrangements for groups to all responsible property departments, on-site contact for group retreats, post retreat follow-up, etc.
BEO Coordination
- Work with team members and group leaders to prepare BEOs.
- Communicate all group details with the group leaders/organizers including: group guest list, group schedule, food and beverage, welcome letters, additional property wellness offerings such as massage and immersion options, etc.
- Cross reference all group schedules with immersion and other WRR schedules to avoid conflicts.
- Complete all BEO's for scheduling deadlines and accuracy.
Programming
- In tandem with DOS, lead planning to grow top line revenue through programming around themed weekends, add-on paid immersion classes, wellness packages and amenities including massage.
- Coordinate with Director of Sales for development of Treehaus group package offerings, special wellness incentive offers and packages to HR Teams and employers.
- Lead Annual and Quarterly Planning with CH Marketing for programming promotions.
- Coordinate with Director of Sales and Owner for Wild Rice Retreat in the wild opportunities in major markets.
- Build out the Rewards Program for repeat guests.
Immersion Teacher
- Design, prepare for and teach classes in balance with other responsibilities.
- Order products and create aromatherapy blends for retail, classes, and VIP guest experience.
Marketing
- Regular participation and contributions of ideas in CH Marketing meetings.
- Development of templates and organic social media content.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
- Previous experience within the hospitality or wellness industry.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of sales techniques, such as upselling, presentation, etc.
- Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to Google Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and perform multiple functions at a time.
- Ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
