Position: Group Leader I
Location:Bloomfield Plant – Bloomfield, NM

Hours of work: Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40Hrs/Wk - 5 days per week, 3 shift rotation with weekend overtime
The Group Leader Iwill direct the workers in one or more of the functional areas of the Bloomfield Plant which include: Electrical and Mechanical Assembly and Testing of Standard Products, Quality Assurance, Quality Document control and work schedule development. Typically, Group Leader I will supervise from 5-10 workers but may have no direct reports.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Understands, trains employees and enforces all policies and procedures
- Supervise the day-to-day production activity of employees on shift to meet schedule deadlines
- Perform hands-on work as required with shift workers to accomplish the necessary work objectives
- Responsible for the quality and specification compliance of equipment/product work performed during the shift
- Provides turnover reporting from shift activities to other group leaders
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
- 2-3 yearsFabrication experience is required
- Coating Supervision is preferred
- Fabrication Supervision is preferred
- Welding Supervision is preferred
