Candidates must possess a BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience. This leadership role involves steering a team and handling Statement of Work (SOW) tasks. The ideal candidate should be an energetic engineer, capable of team leadership and development, and possess a good understanding of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include effectively navigating through challenges, multitasking, and confidently engaging with customer leadership to secure additional projects. A strong inclination towards mentoring and team building is essential.Job Duties:* Lead and manage a team of engineers and support staff to complete SOW tasks and objectives.* Regularly interact with customers to ensure timely and quality completion of workload.* Engage with senior customer leaders to explore further work opportunities.* Manage recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff, coordinating with HR.* Handle administrative tasks like ordering equipment and arranging system access for team members.* Mentor and guide new employees in manufacturing and project-related areas.* Set work priorities, approve timecards, and address daily operational issues.* Collaborate with MSCS team members in other factories for team training enhancement.Desired Qualifications:* BS Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.* 3 or more years of manufacturing and engineering experience in a relevant field* 1 or more years of technical leadership, people management, or project management experience* Ability to understand engineering and manufacturing drawings* Strong understanding of GD&T* Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast paced environment* Ability to collaborate and communicate with a variety of personalities, discipline groups, and tiers within the organization* Self-motivated and eager to soak up learning like a sponge* Computer savvy; advanced in MS Excel for various applications is advantageous * US Citizenship is required due to the work nature.Preferred Qualifications & Skills:* Experience with supplier & customer relations * NX/Team Center skills are advantageous.* Aerospace, turbine, or airfoil engineering experienceBelcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package.
