The Group Product Director, Market Access Marketing is responsible for collaborating within the Brand and with cross-functional partners within the SCG organization to develop market access strategies and programs for XARELTO®. Critical to the success of this position will be an ability to gain a deep understanding of the changing healthcare landscape and the impact on both short- and long-term requirements for delivering long term market access strategies. This is a highly visible and strategically critical role.
This individual will develop and empower a team of 5 direct reports to act as general managers to meet current and future business needs. Key responsibilities:
- Strategy - Lead the development and execution of short and long-term Xarelto® market access strategies that drive growth while maintaining strong financial health of the business in light of a continually evolving healthcare market access environment.
- Insight Generation - Use data and insights, along with collaboration with SCG Value Access and Pricing, SCG field account teams, Commercial Insights and Strategy and Real-World Value and Evidence to strengthen the Xarelto® value narrative and accompanying assets.
- Collaboration - Develop strong partnerships with SCG marketing and account teams to support customer needs and ensure aligned execution of the winning ambition and pull through of the Xarelto® Value Proposition.
- People Development - Lead a team to support strategy and execution with a focus on culture, development, diversity, and inclusion.
- Budgeting - Manage multi billion dollar budget including agency and 3rd party vendors.
- Reimbursement - Shape and lead the execution of innovative 90-day initiatives delivered through the sales force and health care providers to support greater patient adherence.
- B.A./B.S. required; MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of healthcare experience required.
- Market access and/or pricing strategy experience and success is required.
- Strong verbal, written, collaboration and executive communication skills are required along with demonstrated presentation skills
- Must have big picture orientation with attention to detail.
- Continual assessment of the competitive landscape to gather insights which drive strategic choices related to market access and reimbursement.
- Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, proactivity, and interpersonal skills required.
- Demonstrated people leadership of multiple directs is required.
