BLU-Tique Hotel is currently seeking an experienced, full-time Group Sales Coordinator in Akron, OH. This individual will ideally have group guest service experience in a hotel setting.

The right candidate will have:

• Customer service experience required
• Previous sales experience in a hotel setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations
• Banquet sales or operations experience preferred
• Experience with hotel reservation and revenue management systems
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, often under high pressure and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to react quickly and decisively to changes in negotiations, time schedules, and market trends

Our Group Sales Coordinator will:

• Detail, maintain, and organize group room contacts and room block inventories
• Assist in any and all guest needs, including coordination of group guest needs
• Ensure the highest level of group satisfaction by offering friendly attentive service
• Maintain, monitor, and update group information on the hotel’s records as necessary
• Create contracts, proposals, agreements, BEOs, and other administrative responsibilities
• Fully support, from administrative, customer service and sale lead development perspectives, the sales team to develop future and repeat business
• Ensure consistent and timely communication with clients, both verbally and in writing
• Follow-up with events after their conclusion to ensure satisfaction
• Process guest check-in and check-out smoothly and correctly
