Summary
The Cigna Medicare Growth Enablement Specialist will be responsible for management, delivery and execution of Sales Medicare initiatives designed to drive profitable growth, improve efficiency of business processes and reduce operational expenses relative to Cigna's Medicare, Medicaid, and PDP products. The individual will deliver on strategic solutions and have a significant impact on key department objectives by aligning business solutions with Cigna's overall value proposition as well as federal and state regulatory requirements.
This individual will perform a critical role for the Growth organization and will provide support and delivery of the small initiatives for the Medicare organization. this role will support AEP readiness, our technology and sales tools, and other smaller prioritized growth initiatives. This individual will own the responsibilities of ensuring our Medicare organization is informed and educated on our technology improvements by establishing a communication cadence for our Growth Enablement deliverables. This resource will own the management and delivery of small but important growth initiatives (e.g. salesforce mobile). This role is needed to support the ever-growing list of initiatives across the expanding Medicare Organization (e.g. Customer Retention, DTC, HPOne, Service, Broker, Operations, CSB, etc)This individual will be responsible for delivering initiatives critical to the Cigna's Sales Medicare organization by coordinating across various departmental and matrix partners to deliver critical solutions in support of the Government segment.
The Growth Enablement Specialist will proactively manage multiple deliverables ensuring progress is occurring and aligned to meet commitments. This includes working with subject matter experts to develop detailed requirements, working directly with IT to ensure progress, verifying results and communicating to end users and Sales Leadership, while ensuring timely implementations. This resource will identify gaps in processes and mitigate risks to ensure quality deliverables.
This individual will work closely across teams and leadership to ensure compliance of the sales solutions, improve the quality and efficiency of Sales Medicare solutions.Achievements are largely dependent on successfully working across multiple constituents, the sales organization, and market leadership to deliver solutions that meet or exceed the needs of all stakeholders. This is accomplished by acquiring a deep understanding of all business processes, systems and matrix partner impacts; anticipating the needs of stakeholders to proactively design innovative, scalable, value-added solutions; breaking down complex problems and scenarios into easily understood parts and communicating to stakeholders at various levels; executing project plans per delivery expectations and timelines, and building and maintaining strong peer relationships with various internal matrix partners and external vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build subject matter expertise across the Sales channels and deliver innovative, scalable solutions
- Implement scalable solutions for our Sales teams per business requirements, on time, within budget
- Work with the business teams to build out business requirements, complete functional user testing and verify successful production deployments
- Partner with functional areas (Growth Enablement team, IT, Contracting, Commissions, Training, Compliance, Sales Integrity, Broker Enablement, Sales resources, Account Management teams), to ensure successful identification of business impact, system, process, and policy change needs
- Support cross-functional decision-making and take ownership to drive compliant solutions
- Accountable for delivery and implementation of Sales solutions which support virtual solutions
- Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and learn quickly
- Ability to analyze and interpret Cigna Medicare legal/policy and regulatory changes to ensure compliance
- Ability to anticipate and mitigate risks related to system functionality and business processes, escalating as necessary
- Creates and communicates ongoing status for Sales Initiatives (metrics, trends, status, upcoming items, etc) at the right level to the right audience at the appropriate time
- Able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure business objectives and their subsequent deliverables are met as expected
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with Sales leaders, business teams, Product, Marketing, Customer Service, Compliance, Finance and other matrix partners to successfully execute on deliverables
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree - Business, Marketing, or Communications, preferred or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 or more years of work experience
- Knowledge of CMS Medicare sales regulations (MCMGs) helpful but not required
- Experience in Healthcare helpful, but not required
- Customer-focused, conscientious, results-oriented individual with a passion for accuracy and quality
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-performance culture
- Experience working with Salesforce.com preferred
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, and through ambiguity identify opportunity to create change

- Experience in developing and delivery of effective process improvements
