About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to support our marketing measurement and insights program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering business and channel-level analysis and insights, identifying trends to enable optimization, and driving strategic initiatives to identify opportunities for growth. This role requires strong data analysis and market research skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop quantitative analysis, tools, ad hoc reports, scorecards, and models to support marketing decision-making. Analysis areas may include, but are not limited to: opportunity sizing, audience analysis, ROI, retention, sentiment, lifetime value, sales pipeline, revenue, product adoption, and engagement.
- Conduct deep dives into campaign performance to make well-informed decisions and derive key learnings backed by data, ensuring that insights are actionable and aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with marketing, data scientists, data engineers, and product teams to scope, design, execute, track, and improve the impact of marketing efforts.
- Identify and implement streamlined processes for data reporting and communication.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, data science, or similar fields, with proficiency in SQL, Hive, or other data querying languages, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Deep understanding of B2B marketing, including events, partner ecosystems, scaled channels (in-app, email, web, social), sales incentive programs, pipeline measurement, and multi-touch attribution.
- Experience in extracting, cleaning, and manipulating data to build data sets and reports.
- Experience in communicating with cross-functional stakeholders including brand strategists, marketing researchers, product marketing managers, and engineers.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and quickly adapt to deliver results, such as spearheading new projects, supporting product launches, or building new teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record in leveraging data to influence monetization strategies from a product, organizational, or company-wide perspective. Experience in identifying and executing monetization opportunities that align with strategic goals.
- Statistical modeling and data analysis experience (e.g., significance testing, regression modeling, sampling theory).
- Management consulting experience or a similar career requiring the presentation of data-driven insights to business audiences.
