Guest Services Coordinator – Video Game Research Operations
We’re looking for a Guest Services Coordinator to join our growing team in Culver City, CA. We are the leading consumer market research and consulting firm in the video game field, and we regularly conduct focus groups, interviews, and playtests to collect data and insights for our clients. This role requires the candidate to be a specialized customer service representative, attending to the needs and enhancing the experience of our gaming clients and research participants who visit our Culver City research facility, while also providing ad-hoc support to our online gamer community (Good Gamer Group). The ideal candidate is someone who prides themselves on being organized, neat, and efficient with process and procedure, is a people person, and is a great communicator. Experience working in customer service is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the welcome center of our Culver City facility. Keep the facility clean, organized, and looking professional.
- Assist IT team with pre-project setup, and post-project tear-down. Ensure space is clean and organized prior to next group, and at end and beginning of each day.
- Greet clients and coordinate with research project team on meeting client needs, including backroom seating, lighting, supplies, meal ordering, etc.
- Greet research participants and assist project execution with administrative functions, such as providing name tags, showing how to use lockers, providing snacks, providing NDA to fill out, etc.
- Enforce security protocols, such as stowing away any recording devices such as phones, watches, smart glasses.
- Coordinate with online gamer community managers in answering in-bound questions from recent and future research participants (e.g., providing directions, parking instructions, incentive payment details, etc.).
- Other ad hoc office management/administrative functions when needed.
- This is a full-time role requiring physical presence in our Culver City facility every day during a work week and occasionally on weekends. However, work schedules can be flexible depending on project start/end time.

Experience
None required – we are open to all situations and life stages; however, the ideal candidate will have some customer service and/or office organization/administration experience. Please speak to these facets in your application.
Compensation
This is an hourly full-time position, with expected hours from 30-40 per week, with a pay range of $18-$22 per hour depending on experience. This position is considered a non-exempt position, meaning you will be eligible for overtime pay should you work more than forty hours per week. As a full-time employee, you will also be eligible for other company benefits, including tiered performance bonus, optional 401K with employer matching, medical, dental, vision, and short-term & long-term disability.
