Position Summary:The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for recognizing and addressing situations involving guest relations, staff issues, crowd management and safety concerns. The Guest Services Supervisor will assist the Event Managers in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
This role will pay an hourly rate between $16.50

About the Venue:Addition Financial Arena is a 252,000 square foot multipurpose, air-conditioned facility that opened in September 2007.This state-of-the-art facility houses 17,000 square feet of exhibition space which can be utilized for basketball oradapted for various sports such as volleyball, wrestling, gymnastics, cheerleading, boxing, MMA, and weightlifting. Thearena facility can also be transformed for concerts and banquets or as a convention/trade show event. Suites, meetingrooms, locker/dressing rooms, a training room, kitchen, and seven concession stands are also housed in the facility.
Responsibilities:- Guide event staff in job performance
- Assist event staff with and resolve patron issues
- Ensure areas are safe for patrons and staff
- Monitor alcohol consumption and related issues.
- Be proactive
- Check in with event staff and ensure they receive breaks
- Monitor key areas during ingress and egress at various times during an event
- Complete all necessary documentation for staff and patron issues
- Assist the Event Manager in event preparations prior, during and after each event
- Must be available for at least ½ of all events occurring within each month
- Experience in customer service
- Experience in managing staff
- Ability to manage high stress situations
- Able to be on feet for long periods of time
- Must have a professional demeanor and a positive attitude
- Will be subject to a performance review after 1-2 months of service
