What You Will Be Doing
- Full cycle development(design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis) for software applications
- Performs and participates in design and code reviews
- Applies technical knowledge and experience to drive innovative solutions for complex problems
- Researches, presents and/or makes recommendations on technical issues
- Accurately predicts time required to complete development tasks and adheres to engineering standards
- Interacts with engineering team, product, and operations on a daily basis
- Thrives in a team oriented and results driven environment
What You Will Need To Get The Job Done
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science and a minimum of 7 years of industry experience.
- Strong knowledge and 5 years working experience in Java
- Strong Experience with java methodologies, technologies and frameworks (POJO, Spring, Maven etc.)
- Strong Experience with Database technologies and relational DB design
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery practises
- Experience with JavaScript and libraries such as JQuery
- Experience with JUnit and automation testing
- Version control systems (GIT)
- Vertica/MySql
- Creating/modifying data load and validation programs
- Experience with Tomcat/Apache
- Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- Demonstrable working skills using Jenkins, Chef, SonarQube and testing suites
- Experience with Messaging (ActiveMQ)
- Experience with Agile methodologies
