Job Title: Hand Grinder Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate hand grinding machines to shape steel forged bars and parts.
• Remove defects and scale from forged materials under constant supervision.
• Utilize travelers to understand and convey job instructions accurately.
• Inspect forgings for defects and mark them for further action.
• Distinguish between different materials and their properties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in operating grinding machines preferred.
• Basic understanding of forging identification practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
