Role Overview: As an Electrical Development Engineer at Bray International, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting electronic and electro-mechanical products, utilizing your electrical engineering skills to create and test models and provide manufacturing support. You will collaborate with a global design team across different time zones and locations, ensuring the successful execution of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge products in the flow control industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support electronic and electro-mechanical products, applying electrical engineering principles.
- Create and test electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical models, ensuring functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with global design teams to execute projects and meet deadlines.
- Provide manufacturing support, ensuring the successful production of designed products.
- Work across time zones and languages, collaborating with diverse teams across different locations.
- Juggle competing priorities, balancing urgent production needs with long-term design projects.
- Research and develop new technologies and solutions to enhance product performance and functionality.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in electronics product design, sensor design and integration, and manufacturing, preferably with controls product design experience.
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, along with Freescale, Microcontrollers, Keil, and Code Warrior.
- Knowledge of C, C++, .NET, and assembly coding languages.
- Familiarity with digital architecture, microcontrollers, circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
- Experience with PCB Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) certifications/validation/testing.
- Ability to run projects independently, demonstrating strong project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical.
