What you'll do:Development and certification of the Next Generation End Cryptographic Unit (ECU) and high assurance Cryptographic High Value Product (CHVP).
The day-to-day:Design, documentation, implementation, prototyping, and testing of next generation encryption devices on cutting edge high speed or ultra-low power digital circuit boards for Layer 3 In-line Network Encryptors.
What you'll need:- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 8+ years hardware design or sustaining experience
- Foundational knowledge of analog and digital logic and timing considerations
- Must be able to prioritize, be detail oriented, and have history of handling time well to accomplish multiple tasks in parallel
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, take ownership of tasks and results
- US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with a temporally and geographically diverse team
- Ability to document and report on technical solutions/findings
- Solid understanding of MS Office products for documentation creation and modification
- Familiarity with standard test equipment (i.e., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, power supplies, etc.)
- Familiarity with production related processes and common failure modes
- High aptitude for learning new things
- Desire to be part of a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and troubleshoot production related issues
