What we are looking for:
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex systems involving FPGA, microprocessor, and DSP components, with a strong focus on high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, USB, LVDS, and SERDES
The role involves working on cutting-edge RF and Microwave applications, including projects that utilize SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture)
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and debug systems with complex FPGA, microprocessor, and DSP components, including high-speed data interfaces like Ethernet, PCIe, USB, LVDS, SERDES, etc.
- Perform board-level debugging of hardware, FPGA, identifying and resolving issues related to high-speed interfaces, power integrity, and signal integrity.
- Ensure hardware systems comply with SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture) standards.
What candidate will Be Doing:
- Analyze and understand FPGA schematics and glue logic, coordinating with FPGA engineers to address board-level issues.
- Collaborate closely with software and systems engineers for seamless integration, while managing hardware development projects.
- Create and execute test plans, perform root cause analysis, and conduct thorough testing of electronic circuits and systems.
- Utilize hardware tools, testing equipment, and programming tools to validate designs and resolve issues.
- Manage the entire circuit card design lifecycle, including requirements capture, schematic design, component selection, signal integrity analysis, simulations, and thermal analysis.
- Stay informed on emerging high-speed digital design technologies and apply innovations to improve system designs.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
