Location: Peachtree City (Onsite, 5 Days/Week)

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Test Engineer (EE) with a strong background in automotive electronics to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the hardware engineering team to support product development from concept to design freeze, executing board-level testing and driving technical communication across cross-functional teams. The Hardware Test Engineer will play a key role in testing hardware systems, identifying solutions for engineering issues during testing, and documenting test results. Key Responsibilities:- Hardware Integration Testing: Execute hardware-level integration testing for various automotive electronic products.
- Hardware-Software Testing: Perform tests that involve both hardware components and software integration.
- Understanding Hardware Design: Work with microcontroller-based systems, signal interfaces, and other hardware components.
- Schematic/Circuit Understanding: Analyze schematics and circuit diagrams to ensure design accuracy.
- Test Equipment: Use testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other lab devices for validation and testing.
- Programming/Flashing: Program and flash software into microcontrollers as part of hardware testing.
- Soldering: Perform soldering tasks, including handling SMD components and making necessary hardware modifications.
- Hardware Test Case Understanding: Interpret and execute hardware test cases to validate design functionality.
- Documentation: Document test results using tools such as DOORS and RTC to track and analyze test outcomes.
- Automotive Electronics Experience: Focus on automotive electronics products such as infotainment systems, cluster displays, and radios.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Automotive Electronics hardware design and testing.
- Strong knowledge of automotive embedded systems and their components.
- Expertise in electrical signal characterization (e.g., DDR, I2C/SPI/UART buses).
- Experience working in a laboratory environment using oscilloscopes, multimeters, lab power supplies, and other validation testing equipment.
- Experience in programming and flashing microcontrollers.
- Strong soldering skills, including handling SMD components.
- Ability to document test results accurately and work with software tools like DOORS and RTC.
- Knowledge of automotive electronics product development processes, including infotainment, clusters, and radios.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work on automotive electronic product development.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and testing protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify hardware-related issues during testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
