JD:
The vendor will support electrical / connectivity hardware test engineering for augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) glasses and headsets. Main responsibilities include bringing up evaluation boards, Core VMO 2 EVBs, debugging problems, testing and validating EVBs and form factor units in accordance with project plans. Recommended Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in test and validation with automation skills Knowledge of one or more programming languages / front end development tools for test automation: Python, C/C++/C#, SQL, JavaScript Recommended Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical engineering with focus on bench validation, debug, and test automation Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, WiFi / BT testers, shield chambers) Comfortable with rework, including soldering Familiarity and ability to debug problems related to electrical interfaces including PCIE, MIPI, UART and others Experience reviewing schematics and layout for general EE designs Experience with WiFi / BT protocols and regulatory standards Familiar with simulation tools for Si/Pi and RF / Antenna DC power model and validation of battery life and thermal models
