Job Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled PCB Electronics In-Circuit Test Engineer with expertise in Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), and ISO 9001 standards. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining in-circuit test strategies to ensure the reliability and quality of our electronic products.

Key Responsibilities:

• In-Circuit Testing Development:
  • Design and develop in-circuit test strategies and fixtures for PCB assemblies.
  • Create and maintain test plans, specifications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to identify test requirements and improve testability.

• SMT and DFMA:
  • Apply knowledge of SMT processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement DFMA principles to improve manufacturability and reduce production costs.

• Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards throughout the testing process.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for test failures.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and quality metrics.

• Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Troubleshoot and debug PCB assemblies, using a variety of testing equipment and methodologies.
  • Provide technical support to production teams and assist in resolving production issues.

• Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in test engineering and electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in in-circuit testing, particularly with PCB assemblies.
• Strong understanding of SMT processes and DFMA principles.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards.
• Proficiency in using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, ICT testers).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
