Head Coach: Men's and Women's Golf - Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor

About the Job
This full-time, exempt position is responsible for the organization, coordination, supervision, and implementation of the women's soccer program at Concordia University Ann Arbor. This 12-month position reports to the Director of Athletics and is located on the Ann Arbor, Michigan Campus.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, schedule, coordinate, and conduct scheduled practices
- Demonstrate Christian concern for athlete's academic, athletic, social and spiritual development
- Provide system for issuing athletic equipment to athletes and supervision of such equipment
- Recruit athletes to soccer program in consultation with Admission Department and Director of Athletics
- Supervise assistant coaches
- Coordinate with Director of Athletics in the management of home and away contests
- Formulate budget for respective program along with Director of Athletics
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent organizational abilities, professional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a schedule
- Knowledge in the trends of the respective sport
- Available evenings and weekends
- Occasional overnight travel
- Extensive travel with teams
Education and/or Training
A bachelor's degree in a related field is required a master's degree is preferred. Minimum of five years coaching experience; college coaching preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time position. Starting range is dependent upon on individual qualifications and experience.
