What We're Looking For
The Head of Card Services position resides within the Fintech Banking team and reports to the EVP, Head of Fintech Banking. This role covers Fintech Banking's card product family. The position is the liaison between the LOB and product, operations, risk and compliance, legal, finance and IT. It is responsible for developing and executing a product plan with business requirements including identifying and partnering with appropriate vendors to enhance and support our product offerings. This function will also oversee new product launches and major enhancements to existing products, as well as readiness for major change events that impact the segment.
Specifically, the role is responsible for delivering and executing a product plan for each product launch or initiative by driving strong collaboration with the product management team and stakeholders in Operations, Sales, Finance, Accounting and Marketing. The position is the subject matter expert for the product that defines the business requirements and then partners with product commercialization and the sales engineers to provide a consultative service and hands-on support to bring new capabilities to market. This role serves as an internal consultant to all stakeholder groups as well as monitoring product KPIs following implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Drive growth of existing products and partnerships as well as new ones
- Manage the sales team and develop a sales strategy
- Manage existing clients on both day to day matters and towards growth opportunities
- Develop, communicate and execute product plans for strategic product initiatives
- Collaborate across all departments including operations, accounting, data science, legal, compliance and finance to ensure internal readiness and support
- Partner with marketing teams on value proposition and communications
- Partner with finance and business development to develop competitive pricing structure
- Become the subject matter expert to support business process questions, sales presentation and messaging deliverables, and training content planning and delivery
- Deliver and/or coordinate and facilitate product training and knowledge transfer sessions to impacted audiences as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Masters/MBA preferred with background in communications, marketing, sales, consulting and/or operations
- In-depth knowledge of credit card products
- 7+ years of relevant work experience including combination of product management and/or payments industry experience
- Finds joy in driving cross-collaboration across a wide variety of people at all levels of the organization
- Drives clarity across competing priorities with willingness to roll up sleeves, always poised and positive even in situations influenced by frequent change, disagreement, stress, and ambiguity
- Strategic and thoughtful communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Takes initiative for developing product plans and executing tactical steps within the plans
- Pays great attention to detail and conducts follow up needed on many moving parts within project plans

Salary Range: $250,000.00 - $270,000.00
