Loft is looking for an accountable, passionate engineer to head the mechanical engineering department
As the head of mechanical engineering you will have a hand in all hardware that Loft puts into space, ensuring that along the way, our design, analysis, manufacture, build and test operates like a finely tuned machined (or spacecraft)! Not only that, you’ll help to uphold and improve upon all supporting processes and infrastructure that help make us who we are

Enhance and maintain the supporting processes and infrastructure that contribute to Loft’s success.Must Haves:10+ years as a mechanical engineer in the space industryA pragmatic thinker who can problem solveA passionate, relatable, accountable leaderEnd-to-end satellite program experience (design through to launch of at least one, preferably multiple programs)Spacecraft design, analysis and test experience (both structural and thermal) Has a strong technical engineering background (has done the work before!)
