Apply now for the position of Head of Reporting & Finance Projects, and you will join our Ultrasound Finance Team leading financial reporting, contributing to clear visibility in the decision-making processes, while also making a significant impact that drives positive change and leads to improved financial results.
This is a hybrid position in our Palo Alto, CA office.
Your Role:
- Responsible for the Ultrasound business area monthly & quarterly financial and non-financial reporting for Business Area internal stakeholders and stakeholders within Siemens Healthineers.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, including growth initiatives, cost optimization, and investment opportunities.
- Analyze variances between actual financial results and budget/forecasts, identifying key drivers of performance gaps and recommending corrective actions.
- Define & lead projects to enhance our financial reporting landscape by leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Workflow Automation, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Tools.
- Create roadmap and build-up capabilities to drive Artificial Intelligence for Ultrasound Finance.
- Lead the ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) reporting process incl. the business area internal risk assessment.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of up to 4 FTEs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Your Expertise & Skills for this position:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A.
- MBA in Finance, CPA, CFA preferred.
- Strong experience and proven ability to successfully lead digitalization projects.
- Deep understanding of Financial Reporting processes & landscape.
- Proven ability to drive insights from large datasets and transform them into compelling presentations to get buy-in from senior management.
- Passionate team player with a strong service mentality going the extra mile to meet the expectation of stakeholders.
- Execution-driven and focused mindset to continuously strive for improvements with a very good problem-solving skillset.
- Strong interpersonal, cultural sensitivity, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint skills.
- Fluent in English (other languages, especially German a plus).

The pay range for this position is $200,000 - $230,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is 20% of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
