Daniel Holstein - State Farm Agency, located in Metairie, LA, has an immediate opening for a full-time Head of Sales. As the Head of Sales for our locate State Farm Agency, you will help our agency grow by coaching our sales team to continually achieve their sales goals - multiplying your skills and success by helping Team Members to grow in theirs.

Position Overview:
As a leader, you will help empower our agency sales team members by consistently ensuring sales and service. You will train, coach, and assist our sales team members, and help achieve continued growth for our agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:

- Support sales goals, while continually looking for opportunities for growth.
- Manage day-to-day sales operations.
- Train, coach, and assist Sales Team Members.
- Assist with customer interactions on complex issues.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
What we provide
- Base pay PLUS commission/bonus
- 0 licenses $9.48 per hour ($18,000 per yr)
- 1 license $12.65 per hr ($24,000 per yr)
- 2 Licensed $15.81 per hr ($35,000 per yr)
- Raises based on performance
- Yearly bonus rider for 1% of book growth each year (following all conditions)

- Must have the ability and desire to help and manager others.
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with others to achieve agency sales goals.
- Ability to work in and manage a team environment.
- Ability to effectively train, coach, and assist Sales Team Members.
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- State Farm experience not required, but helpful.
- Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H licenses preferred.
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
- Self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to effectively relate to a customer
- Property & Casualty license (must have or be able to obtain)
- Life & Health license (must have or be able to obtain)
