HEAD COACH FOR SUMMER SWIM TEAM AT ARONIMINK GOLF CLUB
Are you passionate about swimming and working with youth? Do you enjoy helping young athletes develop confidence and skills in the pool? Aronimink Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head Coach for our upcoming summer 2025 season. We're looking for someone who is excited to build and lead a swim team that emphasizes growth, teamwork, and fun. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to working with both experienced and new swimmers and have a vision for a robust swim lesson program.
At Aronimink Golf Club, we value a supportive and community-focused atmosphere. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with eager young swimmers in a beautiful new facility. Swim meets and practices are all on weekdays leaving weekends open.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coach the summer swim team, focusing on skill development, sportsmanship, and team spirit.
- Oversee and empower a strong staff of assistant coaches.
- Create a welcoming, positive, supportive environment for swimmers of all skill levels.
- Organize and run regular practices, ensuring a structured and engaging training experience.
- Create competitive regular season and championship meet line-ups.
- Collaborate with country club staff and parents to communicate effectively and plan team events.
- Provide swim lessons to both team members and club members of all ages, with the potential to develop and expand a swim lesson program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience coaching or teaching swim skills to children and teens (prior swim team coaching experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of stroke techniques, swim training, and age-appropriate practice plans.
- Ability to connect with young swimmers, build confidence, and foster a positive learning environment.
- Current lifeguard and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before the start of the season).
- Availability for practices, meets, and special events throughout the summer season.
Working Conditions: This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
