Minimum Education Required

- We are searching for a motivated and driven Head Teacher that enjoys working with students with autism and IDD and has a desire to contribute to their lives in positive ways.
- We are looking for a passionate TEAM member who is committed to making a difference every day.
- You will be responsible for up to six students in the class.
- You will work closely as a team with the Behavior Specialist and Case Managers to conduct educational, behavioral, and vocational assessments, write and implement IEPs, monitor progress on IEP objectives.
- You will work directly will students, supervise all classroom staff, collaborate with related service providers, and provide in-home parent training on a monthly basis.
- Ideal candidates hold a Massachusetts license in Severe Special Ed K-12, the ability to deliver instruction using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, experience in supervising classroom staff, and experience in serving students in community-based and vocational settings.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and enrolled in a Master’s program in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field
- Must be enrolled in special education teacher certification or be enrolled in DOE teacher certification in special education pursuant to the requirements of 603 CMR 44.00
- Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or other behavioral challenges
- Supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license and use of a reliable vehicle
- Ability to perform all physical training requirements
