• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous administrative/office experience required; healthcare administrative experience is a plus.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check in relation to the position applied for.

Day to Day:

• Answering incoming calls
• Participate in medical records organization, retrieval and retention
• Respond to staff requests for charts.
• Process correspondence
• Ensure appropriate reviews are completed before releasing or filing health care information
• Monitor charts for completeness and required documentation
• Data entry of patient information
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
• Perform Health Care Information activities consistent with medical, ethical, and legal requirements
