This role involves reviewing, scanning, and accurately interpreting patient documentation to meet quality, accreditation, and regulatory standards. You will work with electronic health records (Epic/OnBase), assist in process improvement initiatives, and provide training on document management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Abstract key data from medical records and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Perform chart audits and quality checks.
- Assist with Epic/OnBase upgrades and training.
- Process Release of Information (ROI) requests and manage patient inquiries.
- Support special projects and collaborate with healthcare teams.
Qualifications:
- Experience in health information management and EHR systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential.
- High School/GED
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
