About the Job
The Center for Neurological Restoration within the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic is currently recruiting a Clinical Health Psychologist with interest in providing cognitive-behavioral treatments to patients with chronic neurological conditions. This includes Parkinsons disease, Huntingtons disease, other movement disorders, as well as patients with headache and facial pain. This position will also provide opportunity to work within interdisciplinary programs such as the intensive outpatient REBOOT Program for Chronic Headache, Functional Movement Disorders Comprehensive Clinic, and general psychological support of our patients seen in our Parkinsons disease and Huntingtons disease Centers of Excellence. The successful candidate will be proficient in providing cognitive-behavioral interventions for issues associated with chronic disease coping, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and neurobehavioral disorders.
Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree from an APA- or CPA-accredited psychology program, completed an internship with experience in clinical health psychology and a post-doctoral fellowship. Eligibility for licensure in Ohio is essential.
