Job Location: Onsite; Princeton, NJ.
Schedule: Monday- Friday (8:30am- 5:00pm).
Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 USD per annum + up to 10% bonus.
Job Description:
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Operations Associate for employees of a global investment management company with a location in Princeton, NJ.
The Health, Safety and Environment Operations Associate will support the Global HSE Operations team across multiple programs and platforms to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join an energetic team and work in an environment dedicated to making a positive difference for their colleagues across over 30 countries at significant scale.
Responsibilities:
- Support for the Global HSE Operations team including, but not limited to the following programs:
- Workplace injury and illness prevention and incident investigations
- Ergonomics
- Workplace needs assessments and accommodations
- Travel and event safety
- Emerging health concerns monitoring
- Emergency preparedness and response planning
- Accessibility tools and resources
- Regulatory evaluations and forecasting
- Health and wellness initiatives
- Create templates for future use.
- Document creation and management for various stakeholders via Word, PowerPoint, Excel; including pro-actively flagging documents in need of update or removal.
- Support data analysis and report generation including the creation of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strong numerical expertise and the ability to transform data into simple business language.
- Assist with the administration of the global team mailbox by reviewing incoming emails to determine next steps, responding to employee inquiries in an agreed upon timeframe, and escalating issues / questions to appropriate parties when additional support is needed.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field and 1-2 years of experience or 5 or more years of relevant experience without a related degree.
- Persistent self-starter who can work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Work independently under pressure.
- Work under the guidance of team leaders and alongside other team members to ensure that organizational goals are met.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Customer service skills.
- Think critically and quickly in a fluctuating environment.
- Confidence working in a corporate environment.
- Highly proficient with technology.
- Highly proficient in data analysis in Excel and other tools.
- Ability to create presentations and summaries in PowerPoint.
