About the Job
The Patrick Henry YMCA is seeking a Health and Safety Instructor to teach Lifeguard classes for us! This part-time position starts at $17.00 per hour.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of a Health and Safety Instructor
Work with the Aquatics Director to develop and facilitate training programs for aquatic staff and the community.
QUALIFICATIONS of a Health and Safety Instructor
Must hold current YMCA, American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification; to include CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration (O2) if YMCA certified. If not YMCA certified, employee must obtain O2 within 30 days of hiring date. Must also hold the instructor/trainer level lifeguard certification.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
