What the day will look like
The CEA will support Aon's U.S. Broking delivery within the Health Solutions practice. You will liaise closely with local client teams, carriers, specialty practices, and Broking center colleagues to drive positive client and firmwide outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Carrier Engagement team on managing strategic relationships, including, coordinating logistics for carrier interactions, delivering carrier reports, and leading key takeaways from meetings
- Communicate with Local Consultants and Broking team members to resolve client issues or concerns, and with other key internal and external stakeholders to support and develop the carrier relationships
- Support responsibilities and deadlines expanding across the full Carrier Engagement team, including, conference coordination, stewardship preparation, and organization of annual carrier reviews
- Work alongside the Carrier Engagement team and extended leadership team to evaluate and enhance the carrier relationships to ensure effectiveness of U.S. Broking operation
- Coordinate with legal and financial teams to enforce and amend carrier contracts
How this opportunity is different
The U.S. Broking team is dedicated to supporting the business through the centralization of transactions including requests for proposal (RFPs) and renewals related to coverages including Medical, Medical Stop Loss, Life, Disability, Voluntary Benefits, Dental, Vision, Spending Accounts, and COBRA administration. The Carrier Engagement team works closely with carriers and local client teams to drive client value and thought leadership through a more focused and efficient Broking model.
The Carrier Engagement team is small but mity, encouraging constant collaboration amongst the group. The CEA position is unique in the market, providing you the opportunity to learn from U.S. Broking and Health Solutions leaders, network with Aon Executives, and interact with carrier partner senior leaders.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or 1 – 3 years industry experience
- Life and Health license preferred, but can be obtained post-hire
- Excellent project management discipline, experience leading projects, ability to multi-task, and drive to take initiative while working within deadlines
- Professional approach to establishing rapport with senior executives and leaders while maintaining strong written and oral communication skills
- Desire to develop strong interpersonal relationships and expand industry expertise (build upon basic product knowledge of Medical, Stop Loss, Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Benefits)
- Possess advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills and abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 to $85,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
