HEALTH TECHNICIAN - BILINGUAL SPANISH - Carlsbad Unified School District

This is an open and promotional recruitment to establish an eligibility list to fill vacant positions for the 2024 - 2025 school year. The eligibility list will also be used  to fill any vacancies which may occur within a period of one year, or until depleted. The current vacancy is 8 hours per day and positions in this classification typically work 6-8 hours per day. Positions in this classification require fluent bilingual skills in Spanish.

The recruitment process will consist of a written examination, structured interview and a bilingual assessment.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Under the direction of an assigned administrator and a certificated School Nurse, perform a variety of clerical duties to meet the health needs of students; administer basic first aid and screen ill or injured students; prepare and maintain student health and immunization records and files.
