JOB REQUIREMENTS: Health Unit Coordinator - Trauma & Life Support-B6/3 -
34554 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 60% FTE, 24 Hours
per week. Must be able to work a mixed of days and evening, between 6:00
am - 11:30 pm. Rotating weekends are required. Hours may vary based on
the needs of the clinic. Be part of something remarkable . Health unit
coordinators play a key role on each unit, by providing a warm and
welcoming atmosphere for patients, families, and visitors. We are
seeking a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to: * Manage and facilitate the
day-to-day operations of a unit. * Answer phones, organize files, order
supplies, handle correspondence, manage databases, and provide general
support to patients, family members and other staff. You are often
considered the backbone of the unit, ensuring that everything runs
smoothly and efficiently. * U tilize excellent communication and
organizational skills to support patient care. * Collaborate with the
clinical team to coordinate all aspects of patient care including
patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. * Use high level of
attention to detail to maintain accurate electronic health records and

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education : Minimum - High School
Diploma. Work Experience : Minimum - One (1) year of experience in a
medical or customer service environment or experience of a similar
nature. Preferred - One (1) year of experience in a medical environment.
