About the Job
Beacon Hill's client, an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a healthcare attorney with 3+ years of experience to assist their team.
Location: Remote (candidates must be licensed and reside in one of the following states: California, Washington, or Oregon)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6+ months (concurrent employment not permitted)
Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Hourly pay: $70-$79, depending on experience
Qualifications:
Actively licensed and in good standing in the U.S. jurisdiction where you reside: California, Washington, or Oregon.
3+ years of experience as a healthcare attorney.
Experience in the following areas required:
Healthcare regulatory work, including physician contracting, hospital operations, HIPAA, and healthcare vendor/supply chain contracting.
Medical staff bylaws interpretation and application, including credentialing and regulatory compliance.
Conducting fair hearings and managing adverse actions against medical staff.
In-house experience within hospital medical staff offices would be a plus.
California regulatory knowledge, especially related to the corporate practice of medicine.
Comfortable working in high-volume, sensitive environments where quick yet accurate counsel is required.
