Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Support Representatives to join a Pharmacy Operations team. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls, assist with medication delivery scheduling, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and clients. The ideal candidate will have healthcare and call center experience.
Job Title: Customer Support Representative (Healthcare Call Center)
Location: Cary, NC
Pay: $18.00 - $20.40/hourly
Schedule: 8:00am 8:00pm - Monday Friday***Flexible for OT & Weekendsas needed
Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of call center and healthcare/medical experience *REQUIRED*.
- High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred).
- Experience with benefits verification, claims, copays, or pharmacy operations preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.
- Excellent attention to detail and flexibility with scheduling.
- Must be willing to take a typing and customer service test.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage heavy inbound calls, providing status updates and general prescription information.
- Schedule medication deliveries and payments, ensuring timely distribution.
- Address inquiries or route calls to appropriate staff for prompt resolution.
- Document progress notes to support seamless workflow across teams.
- Verify insurance information and provide invoices upon request.
- Escalate adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinical staff as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on team/program requirements.
