Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Healthcare Equipment Service Center Assistant Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations and management of a busy healthcare equipment service center. You will work closely with the Service Center Manager to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and repaired in a timely manner to support patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the service center, including scheduling, assigning work orders, and providing guidance to technicians.
- Oversight of equipment maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, and order replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source necessary parts and equipment.
- Assist in training and development of service center staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track service center performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a healthcare equipment service center or medical equipment repair facility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in healthcare equipment maintenance or repair.
- Experience with medical device software systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
