As a part of our dedicated team, the Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that all company-owned equipment and attachments are maintained at adequate levels needed to meet production/distribution demand.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to oil changes, diagnostics and evaluation of mechanical problems, maintenance and upkeep, parts ordering/organization, and the recording of maintenance tasks performed. 

What you’ll do:

• Perform services and repairs to company-owned equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.  
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
• Complete paperwork pertaining to maintenance of equipment in a timely manner.
• Research, order, and maintain parts inventory for services and repairs.

  • *This position requires local travel in a company vehicle to other company locations

Estimated Starting Pay

• $28.00/hr and up

• Basic knowledge of mechanical operations for heavy equipment with a background in diagnostics preferred
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills
• Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines and achieve desired goals
• Must be capable of lifting up to 65 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
