We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment vehicles.
**Responsibilities:**
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and trucks.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure equipment performance and longevity.
- Perform scheduled service tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of moving parts.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot problems accurately.
- Disassemble and reassemble engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Certification from a vocational school or technical institute is a plus.
